Friday Favourites #2

Can you believe it is Friday again already!? Time for more favourites!

Punch Needle by Thread Folk
@threadfolk

I love this picture, look at all that yummy yarn! It is also a reminder that I really must give Punch Needle a go! I was kindly sent some supplies from Clover and I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I think now the nights are drawing in and we are getting more rainy days it will be the perfect opportunity to snuggle down and give it a try. This picture is by Thread Folk, not only has she written a fab embroidery book that I wrote about here she is also very talented at punch needle and runs workshops. Alas they are in Australia so I guess I won’t be attending one anytime soon.. sigh.

What a Curly Life
@whatacurlylife

What a Curly Life‘s work needs to come with a cute warning! I love this particular piece at the moment as it is a perfect symbol of our yucky weather this week! How many months till Spring!?

Saturday Stitching
@saturdaystitching

Can you believe this amazing rabbit has been pieced by English Paper Piecing!? It honestly blew me away when I saw it, I never knew such things were possible! Just wow!! I love the colours Saturday Stitching used, very autumnal.

Ruby Star Society
@Rubystarsociety

The very talented ladies of Ruby Star Society (excuse me while I girl crush!) are releasing this hand carved wooden stamps. Designer Alexia Marcelle Abegg likes to use hand carved stamps in her work, so she has created some for us so we can print our own creations!! Unfortunately we are going to have to wait till April to get our hands on them!

Stacie Swift
@stacieswift

This really jumped out at me today, having constant feelings of not being good enough and that I’m not doing enough I needed to hear (see) this, and I wanted to share this with you and tell you, You are doing great, you are enough and you are loved.

Happy Friday my friends, I hope you all have a great weekend <3
