Just in Case Pouch

Aneela Hoey has just released a new pattern and I had the delight of testing it for her. As with all her patterns it is a fantastic design that really helps with your storage needs!

The pattern itself is well written and guides you through step by step! By the time you have finished the case you will feel like a pouch wizard yourself!

In this pattern you get to use a stiff double sided heavyweight interfacing, this is what gives the pouch that brilliant boxy finish and the ability to stand up nice and straight. It is a fat quarter friendly project, only using a FQ each for the exterior and lining fabrics and 1/8th of a yard for the binding, you will also need a 20″ closed ended zipper. The extra long zipper means that you can open the pouch lid right up and see clearly what’s inside.

The finished dimensions are 8″ x 4″ x 5″ so a very roomy size that can hold so many things! I have decided to keep my Aurifil Floss and 12wt threads in there. I did originally have them in a pretty glass jar but it became very impractical when needing a reel that was at the bottom of the jar!!

The pattern is available now and you can buy your downloadable copy here.
