Friday Favourites

I thought it would be fun to restart a weekly feature on Friday of my favourite things that have caught my eye over the week, it has been years since I last did one! I can’t promise it will be a weekly thing, frankly I am not that organised!! But I will aim to make it as regular as I can. It will certainly help us build that Friday feeling ready for the weekend ahead, and it is always nice to spread a little cheer. So without further ado here we go!

Friday Favourites - Helen Phillips - Pumpkin Patch
@helen.phillips

Helen always makes such pretty things, and this pretty pumpkins are no exception! Who says Autumn/Fall colours need to be brown or orange!?

This Handmade Life
@thishandmadelife

Speaking of autumn how snuggly does this picture look, it makes me want to pick up some crochet and knit my own socks! Seriously though whenever I see a pair of hand knitted socks on Instagram it makes me want to learn to knit them so bad, my knitting skills do not extend further than knitting a scarf (although I have probably forgotten even that now!) and I really don’t have the time (or the patience) to a learn a new hobby. So instead I will stick to admiring them from afar, and hope maybe one day someone will take pity on my and kindly knit me a pair.

My Stitching Journel
@mystitchingjournel

Is there anything cuter than a dog on a quilt? Um a puppy on a quilt! Especially a fluffy German Shepherd puppy! Plus we must not forget to admire how roarsome the quilt he is modelling is!

Vintage Sewing Box
@vintagesewingbox

Do you love Liberty and pretty stitches? Then I suggest you drop everything you are doing and run over to Emma of Vintage Sewing Box account right now! Go on, I’ll wait! Her patience and precision with 1/4 inches hexies (yes you read that right!) astound me, not forgetting to include how seriously pretty and neat everything she makes is. Plus I have serious trainer envy right now! Definitely a pair NOT for walking the dog in!

Cream Craft Goods
@creamcraftgoods

Karen of Cream Craft Goods as an amazing talent for not only designing her own bag patterns but the fabrics she picks and the fabrics she uses are so inspiring. Ever wish you could be like someone? Karen is my person! This bag she made for when her little girl starts Scouts and heads off to camp. I love the attention to details and the fussy cut stamps.

So there we have it my top five for the week! I could have gone on and on but I figured 5 is a nice round figure! I hope you enjoyed the post and I hope you have a great weekend!
