Stardust Fabric – Granny Pouch

Today I’m sharing what I made with the ever so beautiful fabric – Stardust, designed by Bev McCullough from Flamingo Toes for Riley Blake Designs.

When I saw that beautiful large scale floral print, I knew it would make a beautiful slouchy style granny bag. So with the help of one of my Japanese craft books I made this.

I think it would make a lovely bag for a wedding (if we ever get to go back to those!?).

If you look in closely those gold leaves actually sparkle, thanks to a magical dusting of Stardust, well metallic print, but you get the idea! Sooo special!

Of course I had to make a sweet little matching coin purse. Who wants to be putting their big ole everyday wallet in such a pretty bag!?

I kept the interior simple, with a slip pocket and a little tab to attach keys or a purse. You know me I do love a clamshell, and this clamshell fabric is no exception, it’s super pretty!

You’ll also notice that the gold on the interior sparkles too! I really love this print, perhaps my favourite, it’s just so pretty!
