Embracing Autumn

Autumn leaves

The clocks have gone back, Halloween has been and gone, it’s now officially autumn and it’s time to admit the sunny season is over and welcome autumn in. Autumn… I’ve always dreaded autumn it always leads onto winter and I’m not good with cold, wet and dark but for the first time I’m actually looking forward to it! I’ve not enjoyed the heat this year, our little flat gets so hot, but now it’s time for snuggly jumpers, thick socks and lots of hot chocolate  and nice smelly candles.

My past few makes have been lovely pastel colours but now it’s time to down those and pick up more warm and homely colours. It’s not been easy I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of browns… but… a new Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery has helped be come around to the idea.
This one is a woodland sampler with a cute woodland themed picture for each month.

Embracing Autumn

These little patterns come together so quick I’m already half way through November but I will share that with you another time.

While we are on the subject of November, can you believe it’s here already!? I guess it’s time to think about *whispers* Christmas! :O

  1. *whispers* already?! Exciting, but time does fly by doesn’t it?

Lovely stitching. Mini projects like this are the best…quick enough that you can get the satisfaction of a finished project in a reasonable timeline!

    Popping over from the EBT…
