Sewing and Quilting Books on my Wish List Right Now

It seems there are so many new sewing books either just released or about to be released. I love how much inspiration and knowledge you can get from these books and always love adding them to my ever-growing library!

Today I thought I’d share a few that are on my Amazon wish-list at the moment. I have included links (not affiliated with either Amazon or the authors).

Stitch and Sew by Aneela Hoey

I loved Aneela’s first book Stitched Sewing Organisers and have made many of the projects from the book, several more than once. So I was super excited to find out she is releasing a new book next month. This time including two of my favourite things Embroidery and purse making. How perfect! Due to be released on the 24th July 2018.

Stitch and Sew

Diary in Stitches by Minki Kim

Minki Kim is releasing her second book following on from her so inspiring first – Sew Illustrated. Minki has an incredible talent for combining fabric, sewing and illustration, making the most beautiful embroidery pieces that look like works of art. In her new book she shares 65 different motifs with 6 different projects that you can turn your embroidery too. I’ve not done a lot of machine embroidery, it does scare me a little, so if there is anyone to learn it from Minki is the lady! Due to be released 31st August 2018

EPP – A stitch in Time

A slightly longer wait for this one but I know it will definetly be worth it! Sharon Burgess is bringing out her second book to follow on from her fabulous first Quilting on the Go – English Paper Piecing which if you don’t own already I highly recommend it, especially if you are just starting out. (At time of writing this post it is just £4.00 on Amazon UK!!) This time Sharon combines EPP with sweet embellishments such as embroidery, linen and lace. I’m super excited for this as that’s just what I love to do! Due to be released 17th September 2018.

Flossie Teacakes’ Guide to English Paper Piecing by Florence Knapp

Another EPP book to be excited about is the release of Florence Knapp’s new book a guide to English Paper Piecing, if you follow Florence on Instagram (Flossieteacakes) You will know that her ability to paper piece and fussy cut is out of this world! So it will be really exciting to see what is in this book! Due to be released 29th June 2018.

I’m always on the look out for a good book so if you think I’ve missed anything let me know! What books are on your wish-list??
