Sewing

August Round-up

With the school holidays I feel like I’ve not had much time for anything, grabbing moments here and there to do some sewing, it has meant the blog has once again been left to one side.

As much as I love the summer I am looking forward to getting back into a routine again, and pre-school starts back on Monday.

Despite all this I have seemed to have managed quite a few projects!

August Round-up

I finished quilting my Cross Stitch quilt and have already put it to good use a couple of times now, snuggling under it now the evenings are getting cooler.  I  Conquered my fear of backpacks and managed to make a cute safari themed version for Mabel for Pre-school. I had a shop update and added some sweet little purses, squeezed in some cross stitch and started another quilt that I will share about soon! So all in all not too bad! Not forgetting a very exciting delivery from Aurifil thread, my Artisan welcome pack! That really was some very happy mail!

Blooming blossoms

I’m slowly catching up with my Blooming Blossoms BOM, but I always seem to be about 2 months behind. This here is June’s box that I finished (but ran out of time to blog about) just in time for August’s box arrival, and I’m still working on July with September’s box arrival imminent. I’m not going to stress about it though. This project is just perfect when I want to switch off of an evening and have nothing to hand. I can just pick it up when I want and carry on with it, that’s the absolute greatest thing about EPP (English paper piecing)

I am looking forward to this month, I have a couple of exciting projects planned for Mabel’s birthday at the end of the month, as well as wanting to spend some time stocking up my shop. Is there anything you’d like to see in my shop? With Christmas just around the corner now (Sorry!) it’s a good time to think about what to get.
