Can you believe we are halfway through January already!? At this rate it’ll be summer before we know it! Oh how I hope so, I’m really not enjoying this cold, grey weather, so depressing and uninspiring!

To cheer up those January blues I have been busy with the shop getting some new goodies in!

First of all we have these AGF bundle boxes. 10 fat quarters of beautiful quality cotton! AGF has created a collector’s box of fabrics like no other! Hand-picked for makers to use in a multitude of creative projects. We have Berry Valentine and Rose Parfait available. I think these pinks are gorgeous and just the right amount of cheer we need for these dark and dreary days! A perfect gift for a Valentine or to make something for your Valentine!

Something I want to stock plenty of in the shop is patterns, so to start this trend I have picked three that I’m very excited about.

Firstly is the Fika Tote by Noodlehead. I love Noodlehead’s patterns, you may remember my Maker’s tote that I made. This is one that is going to have to go on my to make list!

Then with Valentines just around the corner I thought this sweet pattern by Stitcharama was just so perfect.

Finally for patterns is this pocket-sized little book on Embroidery by Alison Glass. The booklet is twelve pages of information on embroidery tools and materials transferring designs illustrated stitches and some cute Alison Glass designs to trace and stitch.

It’s no secret my love of Aurifil thread and I am super excited to start my stockists journey with them. I have picked 6 colours of 80wt thread, which is absolutely perfect for English Paper Piecing and hand applique.

Finally I have added some Clamshell paper pieces and 3/4″ Hexagons, with a plan to get more shapes in soon. If there are any shapes you would like to see let me know!
