Romantic ideas

I have been having a play with inspiration boards at Style Me Loads of inspiring pretty pictures, and the bonus that you can build your own inspiration boards.

Beautiful romantic ideas, lots of flowers, lots of candles, and pretty pastels.

And then I started looking at photos that had a pop colour, it got me thinking do I want it all to be all pastel.

Very cute!

A Royal Icon

Now here is someone who inspires me.

Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco a true icon. I will be taking inspiration from her wedding for my wedding, and if I can look even a little bit as beautiful as her I will be very happy (and I recokon so will my Fiance ;) )

The Save the Date Cards are now at the printers. I had a play about in Photoshop and came up with this…

What do you think? We decided on the play on words of Wed as we are getting married on a Wednesday. I have requested they be printed as post cards so we can write a personal message on the back. We will post them in an envelope to keep it more private.

My thoughts areย now turning to invitations. I would love to make my own, andย I have been having a browse through Pinterest and have found some beautiful inspiration.

I LOVE the Art Deco/ Rennie MacIntosh style invite. But my heart is being drawn towards the vintage style,ย lace embellishments and pearl and ribbon finishing touches. There is so much pretty lace out there it is going to take me a while to pick the right one., I have even found some pink lace which I may be tempted by to go onto a grey/silver card.

We’ve set the date!

I am pleased to announce that on the 15th May 2013 I willl be marrying the love of my life.

This is the venue where we will be married and have our reception. I feel a lot more relaxed now it is all booked, I can now get on with planning the extras. I am making our own save the date cards, and will need to get these posted soon. I’m going to try and work some magic in photoshop and then print them as postcards with Will keep you updated on the design.

Sooooo excited :D
