So I’ve just realised how long it has been since I last blogged! I’m not entirely sure where the time has gone, but I’m pleased to say I’ve not been completely idle during my blogging absence. Although it does mean the resolution to  blog more is not going to plan!

So what have I been up to? Well the new brooches are now in the shop as well as some fabulous fabric buttons. Bu tsomething more exciting than that is I’ve been working on something new! As I mentioned previously in another post I have a craft fair coming up for Valentines. So my mind has been focused on that, I knew I wanted to make some sort of heart hanging ornament, but I wanted to make it a little different and a bit special. It was while I was in a craft shop that I came across some ribbon which was exactly what I had in mind, and I had my very own Eureka moment, like the ribbon was put there just for me! :)

Originally my idea was to embroider the word love onto the heart somehow, but as you may agree I think the ribbon looks  a lot better.

I’ve used Cath Kidston and Tilda fabrics, some vintage style lace, felt and a cute little button as a final embellishment. What do you think??

I will be listing them in the shop as well as having them on my craft stall. These are un scented but I am going to offer scented ones to order. So if you would like one of these for your Valentine or to just add some prettiness to your home they will be available very soon with more on the way as well.
