Aneela Hoey has released another new pattern this week and I had the pleasure of testing it for her. Always thinking of our crafting storage needs, she has come up with a pouch that has not one but two zips, perfect for those of you who like to keep different parts of your hobby organised. Of course it doesn’t have to be exclusively for crafting, its uses are endless!
The pouch comes in two sizes. The smaller size being 8″ x 4″ x 5″ and the larger 10″ x 4″ x 5″. I decided to make the larger version with the new fabric we have in stock – Leah Duncan Wild Queen of Beasts. This fabric has such a lovely feel to it and I just love the vibrant design it has.
As ever the pattern was well written and with plenty of tips and explanations. So even if you’re novice Aneela will walk you through step-by-step.
The handle has an option to use leather but if like me you don’t have any there are instructions to make a fabric one too. I decided to use a metallic Essex Linen, although I don’t think you can really see the sparkles from this picture. I love how it stands up so well on its own and it’s going to fit so much in there! I have already stocked mine up with various threads and notions!
You can purchase a copy of the pattern on Aneela’s website here.
