Pinnie Parade – Final Week!

Pinnie parade - Final week!

So can you believe it, I managed to post a pincushion a day for the whole month!

Pinnie Parade - Final week

Day 22 – This is a teeny tiny one! Only 2.5inches square. I added some sweet embroidery embellishments, I think the elephant looks very regal with her floral crown!

Day 23 – Such sweet Elea Lutz fabric! She really does the sweetest fabric! Again I added some sweet embellishments just to make the little bunny pop!

Day 24 – Normally green and orange are my least favourite colours but it seems to work here so I went with it!

Day 25 – This one made with some lovely Tilda fabric scraps, some lace and a little zakka tape. I really like this one!

Day 26 –   I’m not sure how I feel about this one. It just doesn’t look quite right in my mind. The pink spots I’m not sure about, but I am pleased with the fussy cut Tilda flowers!

Day 27 – It may not be the most complex but it was a bank holiday and the sun was shining, so not much time to get on the machine. A sweet Lecien deer appliqued onto Japanese linen.

Day 28 – Some sweet scraps to remind me of spring rather than the fact that autumn is fast approaching!

Day 29 – I felt the need to go rainbow! Inspired by the rainbow dresden pouch from a couple of months ago

Day 30 – Dedicating this one to my beautiful granddad who died on this day too many years ago, I was only 9 but he took a piece of my heart and I miss him everyday.

Day 31 – I’m really getting into sewing illustration, it really adds a new dimension to a sewing project!

And just like that it’s a wrap! 31 pincushions posted and 24 made in the month of August! Now the question is – what will I do with them all!?

Here they (almost) all are! I have to say it was a fun challenge, but certainly a challenge! It was a great way to use up lots of scraps but also a good excuse to cut into some fabrics I hadn’t yet touched.
